In the bareback riding Canadian cowboy, Orin Larsen had been consistently just out of the money, not pulling a cheque, that is, until round six, where he spurred Night Gazer Pickett of Pro Rodeo Co. for 91.0 points and a $26,997 cheque. This bumps him to sixth in the average, and he sits 11th in the World standings. Kaycee Feild is first in the World and second in the average, Jess Pope is second in the World and first in the average.

Though Dirk Tavenner is in Las Vegas competing as an NFR Rookie, you would never know as he has won three of the six rounds, pocketing over $100,000 thus far. Curtis Cassidy was a 5.8 and Scott Guenthner was a 13.5, both out of the money.

It was the fastest round of the team roping, where we watched three teams rope in under four seconds. To get a cheque in this round you had to be no longer than a 4.2.
