Lone Canadian Steer Wrestler Advancing to Semi-Final Perf
Today in the Steer Wrestling slack Curtis Cassidy is the lone Canadian progressing to the American Semi-Finals perf.
Curtis who qualified in the last hole at the Bowie, Texas qualifier ran a 5.26 & 5.78 to make it through to RFD-TV’s The American Semi-Finals Performance, set to run Wednesday-Friday this week. Justin Guenthner who qualified at the Bozeman, Montana qualifier was the next highest, then Cody Cassidy. Craig Weisgerber who also qualified in Bozeman, broke the barrier and rode by on his first one, and Chance Butterfield, who won the Bowie, Texas qualifier was looking good but his second steer didn’t hardly break the neck rope. Travis Reay who won the Buckeye, Arizona qualifier just didn’t have his day today. Morgan Grant who qualified at Fort Scott, Kansas did well on his first steer but will not be advancing.
Thanks to Melissa Guenthner for the update on our Canadian Steer Wrestlers!
